Prunella vulgaris, often called "heal-all," or "self-heal", is an astringent herb with significant medicinal benefits, primarily acting as a powerful antioxidant and wound-healing agent.

Self-heal is traditionally used for its ability to accelerate the healing of cuts, burns, and scrapes; arrest bleeding, making it useful in conditions such as postpartum, menstruation, and the gums of the mouth. It can also be applied directly to open cuts and wounds.
