Safety
Divine Medicinals only uses Nature’s plants, herbs and spices. The herbs we use are wild-harvested and organic. Colors, density, smell and taste of individual herbs and herbal formulations may vary due to the source of the herbs based on geography, climate, growing conditions (organic, wildcrafted) and processing, such as steaming, which can change the color, smell, taste and density of an herb. All products are inspected for quality control.
Quality
Due to the nature of natural ingredients, physical attributes may differ from lot to lot in color, taste and more.
Capsules
We use no chemicals or additives in our products. This includes preservatives, fillers, binders and thickeners.
The products are vegan (with the exception of a few honey-based elixirs), gluten free, soy free, wheat free, peanut free and corn free. Non-GMO.
Tinctures (Extracts)
We only use pure wild-harvested and organic cut and sifted herbs. The tincture base is pure kosher USP vegetable glycerin and filtered alkaline water, at a dry herb to menstruum ratio of 1:5.
We use no chemicals or additives of any kind in our tinctures. Our extracts come in 2 oz amber glass Boston round bottles with a black bulb glass dropper.
Other products
We use 100% plant-based cream base, authentic crystals and gemstones for elixirs and sprays, pure botanical vegetable oils, pure essential oils, hydrosols, and plant-based flours for powders.
Our extracts, as well as our Yoni Wash, contain zero chemicals including alcohol and preservatives, so just like apple cider vinegar, “mothering” may develop over time. Mothering is not mold and not a sign that a product is going bad or has spoiled. It is simply a natural occurrence that is not seen on the commercial market due to chemicals. The sooner a product is used, the less mothering will be an issue.
Mother (n.) consists of dozens of strains of good bacteria, which we often refer to as probiotics. The mother also contains enzymes and yeast, which are essential for breaking down foods so your body can make use of the nutrients you consume. Most raw foods contain enzymes, but they are often destroyed by cooking.
If mothering is a concern for you, keep the product refrigerated before and after each use, shake before each use, or pour the liquid through a muslin cloth or strainer to drain the mother.
