Properties, Indications, & Uses: Tonic, stimulant, liver regenerator, and control of cholesterol; used in beauty products (helpful for the skin, counters premature wrinkling of the skin, beautifier of skin).

Essential oil Carrot is used in cosmetics for anti-aging properties in skin care. Carrot seed essential oil has shown antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. What it doesn't have are the vitamins and nutrients provided by carrots, since it is not to be taken internally.

Indicated for: Insufficient liver, externally for skin problems, and to regulate the thyroid.

Scent: Herbaceous, mild, and spicy odor. A pale yellow oil.

Components: Pinene and carotol, Limonene and Daucol.

Ingredient: Daucus carota

Suggested Use: For aromatherapy use. For all other uses and applications, dilute in a carrier oil such as Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba, etc. Never apply essential oils directly to the skin.
