Aguaje oil (also known as Buriti oil), extracted from the fruit of the Amazonian buriti palm (Mauritia flexuosa), is exceptionally rich in beta-carotene, vitamin E, and essential fatty acids. It deeply hydrates skin, may fight signs of aging, may protect against UV damage, and may support hormonal balance.

Rich in oleic acid, it penetrates the skin barrier easily to lock in hydration and potentially repair dry skin.

High beta-carotene content converts to retinol-like activity, boosting cell turnover and skin elasticity.

A great oil to add to women's breast massage oil.

Aguaje oil has a comedogenic rating of 2. This means it has a moderately low likelihood of clogging pores and is generally safe for most skin types, though individuals with very oily or acne-prone skin should use it with caution.
