Description: Woman Piaba (made popular by a song by Harry Belafonte), also known as Hyptis Pectinata and Mint Bush, is a Jamaican herb used by pregnant women while in labor and post-natally (after childbirth). It is an excellent third trimester herb that prepares the uterus for childbirth.
Woman Piaba is also helpful for menopausal women, and useful for all female discomfort conditions. It is also helpful during the menses when there is constipation.
The herb is useful in cases of colic, fever, headache, gout, pain, and nasal congestion.
The herb also promotes appetite.
