Description: Fo-Ti Root (also known as Ho-Shou-Wu and Shen Min) is a TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) herb (also used in Japan, Taiwan, and Vietnam) with comparable properties to Panax Ginseng and numerous therapeutic benefits including being a liver and blood tonic, immune system booster, countering hypertension, regulating blood cholesterol levels; reducing blood fat, increasing red blood cell count making it exceptional for natural healing of cellular necrosis (cancer); and countering all adverse kidney conditions.
Traditionally, Fo-Ti Root has been used as a rejuvenative and restorative -- helping to retard premature aging.
It's nootropic (no-o-tropic) properties help improve memory and reverse memory problems.
Fo-Ti Root helps support healthy hair growth by inducing the anagen (or growth phase) in resting hair follicles and by encouraging cells at the root of the hair to multiply faster. It retards the greying of hair (it has the ability to keep hair its natural color though it does not darken the hair other than its natural color). It compliments the Ayurvedic herbs Bhringraj, Amla, and Brahmi for purposes of hair health.
