Caffeine vs. Bio-Caffeine

Feb 7th 2018

Many people become confused when they here about herbal products containing caffeine. Many people are used to hearing how caffeine is so bad for them, and the caffeine they’re usually talking about is in fact bad or unhealthy for them.

The caffeine in coffee and pharmaceutical drugs is very insalubrious. However, the caffeine naturally contained in a few herbs such as Yerba Mate, Guarana, Kola Nut, Green Tea, Guayusa, Black Tea, Green Coffee Bean, and Purple Tea to name a few, is naturally occurring caffeine, also known as “bio-caffeine” and is non-addictive.

NOTE: ‘bio’ means “alive” or “living.”

Plus, what makes these herbal teas stimulants in nature is due to other chemicals beside caffeine. Caffeine is not the only stimulant! These other stimulants found naturally occurring in herbs, i.e. “mateine” (found in Yerba Mate), have a similar reaction on the body like caffeine does, but they are not addictive at all.

This same science supra proves why the herb ‘Lobelia’ has a nicotine-like effect on the body but is not harmful or addictive to the body like man-made nicotine is.

NOTE: Naturally occurring nicotine, found in tobacco, is not addictive. Native Americans have used tobacco for centuries and never became addicted to it. Europeans, via genetic engineering, created new strains of tobacco with a nicotine content having 10 times the effect of bio-nicotine. Today, cigarettes are addictive due to numerous addictive chemicals added to them so as to get smokers hooked on them so as to ensure profit for the cigarette industry.

Why is “bio-caffeine” non-addictive? Well, because it’s naturally balanced. Nature always gives you a balance. The problem with major alkaloids such as caffeine is when the alkaloid is extracted, isolated, and standardized. These things render the alkaloid unstable due to not being balanced with other constituents such as vitamins, minerals, trace elements, essential fatty acids, amino acids, etc.

Coffee is actually a fruit that contains a seed (bean). The fruit is discarded for the bean and that’s why we have coffee bean and not coffee fruit.

The caffeine doing the major damage today due to being insalubrious is the caffeine produced by man (pharmaceutical industry), the caffeine actually found in many drugs. This caffeine is synthetic and thus harmful. It can cause addiction. But “bio-caffeine” cannot and will not cause addiction. How many people do you know who are addicted to Green Tea or Yerba Mate? They may enjoy these teas but they are not addicted to them.

Real food is not addictive at all. People with food addictions are addicted only to refined and processed foods due to the synthetic or man-made chemicals in these so-called foods. You will not find people addicted to raw foods: fruits and vegetables. They may greatly like them, but they won’t be addicted to them.

How many people do you know with food addiction(s) who are addicted to cherries, bananas, watermelon, cabbage, radish, or apples? Again, they may enjoy these foods, but they are not addicted to them like how people become addicted to soda pop, chocolate, ice cream, pastries, sugar, salt, meat, dairy products (cheese), etc.

NOTE: Commercial-grade chocolate does not naturally contain caffeine. Caffeine is added to chocolate!

You can only become addicted to chemicals – man-made chemicals, and that’s what people are addicted to – the man-made chemicals in the foodstuffs and beverages they are consuming and have been consuming.

Research will prove to you that everything containing more than 20 mg of caffeine is processed or refinded!

Consider the following:

Brewed Coffee (8 ounces), 60-120 mg caffeine

Double Expresso (2 ounces), 45-100 mg caffeine

Ben & Jerry’s Coffee Fudge Frozen Yogurt (8 ounces), 85 mg caffeine

Instant Coffee (8 ounces), 70 mg caffeine

Black Tea (8 ounces) 45 mg caffeine

Pepsi Cola (12 ounce can), 38 mg caffeine

Coca Cola (12 ounce can), 34 mg caffeine

Hershey’s Special Dark chocolate bar (1.45 ounces), 31 mg caffeine

Herbs containing bio-caffeine contain 20 mg or less of caffeine, and remember, this caffeine found in plants is active (alive) meaning it won’t hurt you or cause you to become addicted it. They are balanced and thus stable unlike drugs.

Black tea is pretty high in caffeine simply because it is processed. Yes, Black tea is made by processing regular Green Tea leaves. The oxidation process of the leaves leave them black in color and this is how Black Tea is made. It is processed!

So the next time you hear somebody talking about how they are concerned about drinking herbal teas of Yerba Mate, Guarana, or Green Tea because of their caffeine content, now you’ll know there’s nothing to be concerned or worried about because the caffeine content is natural and was not added to them by man like what man does with coffee and other things he produces, i.e. chocolate, Espresso, aspirin, etc.

If the product is natural, i.e. plant source, and contains caffeine, there is nothing to worry about. However, if your body is inundated with unnatural caffeine and you switch to natural caffeine in the form of herbs, your body may be so toxic from all the man-made caffeine that your body may become confused and physically react for a while, and because of the natural cleansing effect of herbs, you may experience the Law of Cure or healing crisis and may not be conscious of what’s going on and may think the herbal product is causing you problems due to the caffeine (bio-caffeine) content.

Herbs are beneficial and noble and will not cause you harm. The body recognizes them due to their being organic.

If you are addicted to man-made caffeine (i.e. soda pop, chocolate, Espresso, commercial teas, etc.), it would be best that you first detoxify your body (i.e. Full Body Detox) before switching to a natural source of caffeine.

If the addictive product is coffee, for example, you’d first detoxify your body, and then replace the coffee with Green Tea, Guarana, or Kola Nut (even if the bio-caffeine content of some species of Kola Nut exceeds 20 mg).

NOTE: Despite the fact that decaf (decaffeinated) is far better than caffeinated, decaffeinated products are also processed. Decaffeination is not a process naturally found or occurring in Nature!

In closing, always remember that there is a difference between “caffeine” and “bio-caffeine.” Since “bio” means “alive” or “living”, you can just deduce or infer that regular caffeine is just plain dead – dead caffeine!

After all, anytime you cook or process something, you kill it and anything killed is considered dead. Period!
